TOKEN SOFTWARE SUPPORT

Token Software Support       Pay As You Go        Service Levels

1. Token Software Support

Software support cover can be indispensable where the user is not an experienced or qualified person. Quite often software execution can go wrong and the user is left in a quandary as to what can be done to resolve the situation. A Service Level Agreement or a maintenance contract can be the solution as the user will then know that the problem can be resolved, within a predefined timescale and at what cost. However, paying for support, as a form of insurance, which may not be needed, is an expense many clients wish to avoid. Oaktree IT Services Ltd have devised a solution whereby clients only pay for the support they use. This is termed ‘token software support’.

2. Pay as you go

The Oaktree IT Services Ltd token plan is a fresh approach to software support. The user only pays for support when it is needed allowing budgets to be managed more effectively. The user decides on the number of tokens that need to be purchased in the first instance and these are used to pay for support as it is required.

Tokens never expire, so outstanding credit at the end of the user’s first year is simply rolled over to the following year.
